oday was a beautiful day for Mary's Center. We celebrated our Client Holiday Party and we all had a terrific time. Thanks to the support of organizations and individuals who made possible for us to celebrate this special day, we were able to provide gifts and food to nearly 600 children and their families.Each family also had the chance to get a picture taken with Santa -we have our in-house Santa, who is our Chief Operating Officer, David Tatro,
who's done it for the last two years and loves playing that role-. The pictures had an addition this year: Dr. Richard Gesker, our dentist, joined Santa playing "Rich, the Elf", and the kids loved him as well.It is really gratifying to feel the support of so many people around us to make this event happen, and to see the impact it causes in our families. For many of our children, the toys they received today were the only ones they got this holiday season.
We are grateful for receiving so much love, care and warmth during these days and we acknowledge our donors, volunteers, staff and friends who have helped us preserve one of our oldest and most beautiful traditions of the year. Happy New Year!
